Welcome to Steve Jays Glass Gallery. Glass is a very seductive material. Glass is used in many different aspects of our lives. If you take the time to stop and really look at a magnificently blown piece of glass you can see the unbelievable beauty that can be captured in a molten liquid.
The pieces found here are crafted with a combination of skill and talent. Each piece of blown glass has a unique aspect that separates it from all other pieces. Whether you are looking for a special gift or need a stunning accessory for an evening out on the town, you will find just the piece you are looking for. This collection includes glass earrings, glass pendants and glass beads, glass pokers, as well as amazing glass art and glass sculptures.
Blown glass is a visual feast. It is my sincere hope that these pieces will fill your senses. Enjoy your visit!
Comments on the glass jewelry, suggestions for future glass pieces, request the artist to create a unique hand made piece for you, or interested in purchasing an already existing piece of glass art?
Saturday, 22 October, 2005: Steve Jay is proud to present Steve Jay's Glass.
I am working hard on my free time, which is seldom, to add functionality to this site and display some quality pictures of my glass work.
I apologize that many things are not working but in due time, everything will be up and running.
Check back soon for updates and new images since this site is a work in progress.
All of the works on this site are individually made by carefully melting clear and color rods of glass over the flame of a glass torch technolgoies aka GTT Mirage torch.
Enjoy your visit and feel free to contact me with comments or questions.
Sincerely,
Steve Jay

Updates
Wednesday, 12 July, 2006:
Well a few months have gone by without many updates. I apologize, but I do have a few new sculpture to showcase today. A dragonfly glass sculpture (which tops the glass sculpted flower from last years mothers day) , hippo glass sculpture, and a jellyfish glass slulpture. All of which can be viewed in the gallery page under sculptures. Click here to view the gallery.
Since my last update I have also had my first internet sale!
One last note, I have created a tutorial on how I create glass earrings. The tutorial can be viewed [here]
Well, we kicked the liquid oxygen tank today, so why not put up some new glass art. Its a small update but an update none the less. Check out the new glass pokers, aka, pokey stirry's. I've been hammering away in the studio but my camera has been sent back, so some delay's on new pictures can be expected. But this gives me a quick chance to catch up on all the new original handmade glass jewelry items I have made this month.
Be sure to check back soon for this years mother's day sculpture that tops the glass sculpted flower for last years mothers day.
